packing...

first off, never done a blog-thinger before, so enjoy. it's a work in progress.

packing 4 months of your life into a suitcase (maybe a backpack as well) is one of the hardest things i have ever done. and i am still nowhere near completion. as of now, i leave for europe in 3 days and i'm not sure that it has hit me yet! in case you are unaware, i am spending approx 5 days in dublin and 5 in paris before venturing on over to my new home for the semester, rome!

going to rome is almost bittersweet for me. obviously i am pretty freaking excited but i am going to miss my family, all my friends back in Ames, and my friends back in Nebraska that i usually don't go this long without seeing! most of all i am missing Nate who i haven't seen since may when he left for basic training. he gets back in october but it won't be until december that i see him!

this summer has been weird seeing how my family has moved to milwaukee and i don't know anyone really. after completing an unpaid internship i am now equipped with professional interior design experience and no cash for my trip...yay. but here goes nothing....
